At early in of the morning the Buddha State at the roadside at Unkelipitiya , Thalathuoya, Kandy district had been attack by Mount camel missionaries at Belwood sriyagama,(Kandy District). A pastor and two associates from Mt. Carmel Theological College were arrested on May 27, 2007 and charged with destroying Buddhist statues.
