EXPOSE- The TNA – Criminal Nexus Surfaces From Shritharan’s Political Office In Kilinochchi
In a startling turn of events security forces in Jaffna arrested two suspects after they found 11.1 Kgs of low explosives kept hidden in the three wheeler in which they were traveling, at around 08.30 p.m. on Friday 11th January from the Gurunagar area in Jaffna.
After being alerted of the suspicious movement of a three wheeler troops went into action and apprehended the three wheeler (NP – YM-4074) and the two suspects. During initial search of the three wheeler troops found the low explosives cleverly hidden inside the speakers fixed in the rear. The two suspects Premadas Rajasekaran alias “Sankar” and Premaraja Wasanthan alias “Wasanthan” are residents of Jaffna and Kilinochchi respectively.
During investigations they have told that they brought down the low explosives from Wanni. They have told that they left from Puthukkudiyiruppu on 11th January around 02.30 p.m. and had arrived at Kilinochchi. As per their statements they were to sell these low explosives to fishermen; however investigations are continuing to find out and verify the real motives.
One of the arrested suspect is an active Tamil National Alliance (TNA) member (Premaraj Wasanthan alias “Wasanthan”) and a close aide of TNA’s Kilinochchi district organizer Arunachalam Velaimaligeedan. The suspects have also said that upon arriving at Kilinochchi they had gone to the TNA office and had changed clothes and met the TNA organizer inside the TNA – Kilinochchi district Member of Parliament (MP) S. Shritharan’s political office. They had later left to Jaffna.
On the following day (12th Saturday) armed with the details unearthed from the two suspects TID officials had gone to Kilinochchi together with the suspects and searched the TNA’s political office. During the search operations the officials were startled to find damning evidence of criminal nature from the precinct of the TNA’s office.
TID officials found approximately 400g of low explosives, a large number of mis-leading, anti government propaganda material, distorted anti peace literature, pornographic materials including CD’s, condoms, lots of photographs of local young tamil girls and other ambiguous propaganda material. Upon inquiry TNA’s Kilinochchi district organizer Arunachalam Velaimaligeedan had confirmed the arrival of the two arrested suspects to TNA – Kilinochchi district MP S. Shritharan’s political office the day before.
Later Arunachalam Velaimaligeedan was taken in by the investigating officials to record evidence and for further investigations. Conversely, Ponnnambalam Lakshmeekanthan, the Coordinating Secretary to S. Shritharan MP is evading arrest.
The arrest of these suspects who have high profile connections to the TNA and the discovery of low explosives and other materials including pornographic materials and photos of tamil girls etc.. raises doubts and serious concern of the true nature of the said political entities.
Is the TNA with all its holier than thou attitude and so-called purist political and cultural standpoint on achieving the failed cause of the LTTE, really concerned of the revival of the Tamil community? Is Hon. Shritharan MP, an elected member of the parliament is so nave enough to employ persons with such dubious background and continue to plead ignorance of any involvement in nefarious activities acceptable? Is the Tamil society which regards women in high esteem continue to trust and believe such characters who take in pornography to satisfy their sexual fetishes and also the discovery of condoms in their offices… (May be a piece of evidence of war crimes!!!).
The honourable member is a vociferous advocate of Tamil rights. He regularly points his finger at the government and the security forces accusing it of war crimes, coercion, sexual mistreatment of Tamil women etc.. .
But in reality his tactic is quite ingenious. He takes his political office to take cover and seek refuge from all wrong doings. Their offices are used as base stations from which anti government plots are hatched in order to destabilize and undermine the reconciliation process.
Even recently their plan to complicate the security forces on the recruitment of tamil females to the Army and by claiming sexual assault on them backfired badly when it was revealed otherwise by independent sources. This slander is enough to demonstrate his true concern for his tamil sisters!! And as for the accusation of forceful recruitment of the tamil females, they are still with the Army and have no plans of leaving it.
This is not the only folly of the TNA and its miscreants. They in the past have sold forged document to illegal asylum seekers.
The Tamil community is waking up to the realities of the true face of these political refugees. It is a matter of time before they totally reject the existence of these phony saviors of the community.
