(Colombo, Lankapuvath) – The ‘Medico-Politico’ of the UNP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena (MBBS) now seems to be the ‘God Father’ of the Tamil Nadu fishermen. He was earlier known as the ‘Saviour’ of the LTTE.

Where the trouble looms – Jayalath Jayawardena is there.

When President Mahinda Rajapakse went to address the Oxford Union and LTTE supporters over there created chaos – Jayalath Jayawardena was there.

When the LTTE broke loose in the past at the Madu Church – Jayalath Jayawardena was there distributing siren bells.

Now, when the Tamil Nadu fishermen are reported to be up in arms in the South India – Jayalath Jayawardena was there.

The question that arises in the minds of the patriotic Sri Lankans is the ‘Multi Cultured’ patriotism of the learned doctor. When he is in London he is patriotic to the LTTE sympathizers.

In the Madu Church premises, he seemed to be with the LTTE on one hand, and with the villagers on the other with siren bells hung round his neck.

Last week, in the Tamil Nadu he was a deep sympathizer of the Indian fishermen shedding tears more than Karunanidhi and Vaiko.

Unknown of his sudden departure to Tamil Nadu his voters in Ja-Ela were searching for him ‘Ape manthri thuma ko?’ They less knew he had gone to Tamil Nadu to play the of a ‘Sri Lankan Vaiko’.
