On 20th November, 2010 the 16th Pope Benedict appointed Malcolm Ranjith as a Cardinal in Sri Lanka . He is one among two dozens of cardinals selected for appointment from several countries. There will be a state reception for him on 06.12.2010 at 03.00 pm in BMICH.
He arrived from the Vatican having received all powers in terms of their belief. Vatican City is the God’s kingdom on earth. He is supposed to be the representative of the God. His decisions and orders are believed to be God’s. Whatever orders and instructions given by him have to be accepted as coming from the God and has to be carried out by all Catholics. The language of the God cannot be understood by the followers except the Pope. No one knows whether it’s God’s or the version of the individual who holds the position. Since the beginning of the religious wars of the past to date no one has questioned on such issues. Due to nothing else but fear of terror.
We shall peep into the past how the catholic church handled the Human Race. The book further describes “Because there cannot be two truths, any which is not hers are ipso facto errors. Because the truth has the right to eliminate the error, it is the duty of the Catholic Church to oppose and annihilate the latter.” In view of above, the Catholic Church should genuinely express whether they have changed those policies from the Pope downwards and their attitude towards Buddhists and Hindus in this country. Appointment of Rev. Malcolm Ranjith as a Cardinal is a great thing to the Catholics. But to Buddhists and Hindus it is not so owing to the fact that Rev.Malcolm Ranjith told at the LLRC that the Sinhalese should not be resettled in Jaffna , and if done so grave problems would arise. If Sinhalese and Tamils lived in Jaffna in the recent past and prior to Tamil terrorists chasing away the Sinhalese and Muslims from Jaffna why Rev. Malcolm Ranjith oppose to only Sinhalese but not to Muslims? We know the secret behind this move.We can remember how Rev. Raayappu Joseph supported Piribaharan and his terrorist groups. Sinhalese and Tamils have been living in the north for centuries harmonically. Only after foreign invasions all the problems arised.

Pope Urban the 6th, ordered the General of the Dominicans to appoint Inquisitors for America , Greece and China . As recently as 1762 the Vatican Terror was officially ended. Torture in Europe by Inquisitors was abolished only in 1816 by the Pope as he was forced to do. Finally the holy Inquisition was finally suppressed by Liberals in July 1834.
The crusades 1095 to1291 CE killed 700,000 people. In Jerusalem 1099 CE 60,000 Jews and Muslims were killed including women and children. In the battle of Asklan in August 1099, around 200,000 slaughtered in the name of “Our Lord Jesus Christ”. In France Albigensian 1,000,000 innocent people were killed.”
Not only that, but more to be mentioned. On a later issue those can be accommodated for information and to expose the ferocious cruelty of the Catholic Church in the name of God. Is the belief and the duty about the truth of the Catholic Church is the same? It remains so today and even in the future. We can’t say when and where the next HOLOCAUST would take place.
These are the factual circumstances which mankind cannot forget. The Catholic Church wants to eliminate their cruel history as well as Ceylon History from our school text books. As long as history is taught to children it remains in their minds. Under such circumstances the Church won’t be able to convert innocent Buddhists as planned in 25,000 villages in the Island . This is the very reason that a leading Catholic Priest some time back in Rathnapura uttered the statement that “Mahawansa” should be burned. In the past the church burned living people under Holocaust, now the local church is intending to burn down our history. The Buddhist monks not all but some being in yellow robes used to say that all religions are same. Not only them, certain politicians are there too. Such monks are not “Buddha Puthras” but “Christhu Puthras”. Such idiots don’t know the basics of Buddha’s teachings. They must show us whether “Thilakshana” is their in the Bible and “Patichchasamuppada” in it. Had Buddha told any word about that a God created the World. Such Buddhist monks must tell the Buddhists about such basics without misleading the masses.
Our Buddhist monks, if they don’t know, they should learn that they were categorized by the Catholic Church and the pope as Heretics and Pagans. Our monks and laymen should go through the world history and our history from 1505 onwards to enlighten themselves. Catholics and other Christians are not expected to read what Church has done to their own relatives of the past. The Catholic Church exterminated the civilizations of Mayans, Incas and Aztics from the earth’s surface.
The Vatican Pope and his disciples will have to develop different attitudes to suit the present era apologizing for the sins done by his predecessor Popes throughout the history. The red cap on the head of a Cardinal is the Symbol of blood-shed for their belief when necessity arises. Has this concept been abolished? Do certain ignorant monks know about the danger in the cap and their belief about the truth?
