Campaign to create awareness on forcible conversion in Karnataka

Bangalore , Mar 5 Heads of thirty mutts would assemble here on March 8 to create awareness among Hindus on various”challenges”including forcible religious conversion and terrorism.

The programme, organised by the Karnataka chapter of Dharma Raksha Vedike (DRV) – an offshoot of the recently founded Dharma Raksha Manch by religious leaders in Allahabad, was aimed at creating an awareness among the Hindus, DRV convenor Mahantalingashivacharya of Vibhuthipura Mutt told reporters here.

The DRV would be organising more than 100 meetings at district and taluk headquarters across the state. Pejwar seer Visveshathirtha Swamiji would be among the mutt heads who would take part in the programme, he said.

The seer said a rally would also be organised at Mangalore and Mysore on March 15.
