📚⚖️✒️ *Article 9: The Grundnorm of Sri Lanka constitution.*

Article 9 is the Buddha Sasana Law of the country for 2500 years. Customery law is the basis for the interpretation of prevailing law.

In 1977 advocate H.W. Jayawardana inserted Buddha Sasana Law into the state constitution inorder to continue the Buddhist legacy of the Sinhalese.

BUDDHISM

*Buddhism*.

9. The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(l)(e).

Since Buddha sasana law is the grundnorm; therefore article 9 is the supreme law of the country.

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS

*Freedom of thought, conscience and religion*.

10. Every person is entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including the freedom to have or to adopt a religion or belief of his choice.

In the information age and 4th Industrial revolution where proxy wars are being waged against countries with the application of fourth generation warfare strategy; Sinhalese civilization, and Buddhist culture is under attack from within by an invisible enemy.

Gray areas of the battlefield cannot remain. Glitch in the vision of intelligence agencies will be detrimental to the state and the nation.

Hybrid soldiers fighting against the state are frequently take cover under the state constitution; at all stages of the hybrid war.

Article 14 section 6 and 7 provides clear instructions to evade a glitch, and uncover the enemy hiding in safe heaven under the privileges of human rights granted and assured to the nation. (Ref: Customery Law)

*Freedom of speech* , assembly, association, occupation, movement, &c.

Section 6, 7

(6) The exercise and operation of the fundamental right declared and recognized by Article 14 (1) (h) shall be subject to such restrictions as may be prescribed by law in the interests of national economy.

(7) The exercise and operation of all the fundamental rights declared and recognized by Articles 12, 13 (1), 13 (2) and 14 shall be subject to such restrictions as may be prescribed by law in the interests of national security, public order and the protection of public health or morality, or for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others, or of meeting the just requirements of the general Existing written law and unwritten law to continue in force. Remedy for the infringement of fundamental rights by executive action. welfare of a democratic society. For the purposes of this paragraph ” law ” includes regulations made under the law for the time being relating to public security.

When the national army engage the invisible enemy in hybrid warfare who are fighting against the Sinhalese Buddhist state; we must train them to be skillful in Sinhalathva, and to be well conversant in Buddha Sasana Law.
