📚📖✒️We proposed that the Gotabhaya Rajapaksa government replace rogue candidates with retired military personal, and be given nomination for veterans within all levels of elections held in the country. Every political party have thrown the proposal to the bin.
Politicians disregard Sinhala aspirations and reluctant to implement Sinhalese Buddhist policies.
Rejecting proposals presented to the government and parliamentarians is a clear expression of hostilities they have towards Sinhalese Buddhists.
As a nation under threat from 360° directions, we must reject provincial government elections as a response to the state’s negligence.
Having elections during economic chaos and critical power imbalance exist between nation, races, and religions set a bad precedence. Miscalculated elections further weakens the structure of parliamentary democracy
